Tara Super RB Larry Green (#3) Rushed for 128-Yards and Two Touchdowns!

Tara, Madison Prep, and Southern Lab Are Impressive And Talented!

Every year, for the last 13 years, I have started Evaluating Top High School Football Players with Outstanding Measurables and then Rate and Rank all of them with my MEARS RATING SYSTEM and Start to Invite the Top Rated Players to play in my Annual All-American Bowl Game.

It is also very important for me to also see these Top Players, not only on their Highlight Film, but to see as many of these Players, live and in Real Games. Also, in Louisiana, before the actual Football Season starts, there are numerous Football Jamborees and Classics that give the Players and Coaches, an opportunity to Practice against some other Players that are not on their Team.

On the Last Weekend in August, in the Baton Rouge Area, there were 12 Really Great Football Jamborees. Some were on Friday and some were on Saturday and so I had to make some tough decisions on which ones that I wanted to attend.

I definitely wanted to see the Super-Star Quarterback and Super-Star Running Back at Baton Rouge Tara. The Tara Offensive Coordinator is one of my All-American Bowl Game Coaches and he has been telling me about how Great these Players are and “Flying Under the Radar” with College Coaches and Recruiting Services.

On Friday Night, in the East Baton Rouge Kickoff Classic, Tara would be playing Baton Rouge Glen Oaks in Two-Twelve Minute Quarters after the McKinney against Baton Rouge Woodlawn Game at Flood-Stricken Woodlawn Stadium.

On Saturday Night, in the Corey Webster Foundation Classic, a Very Talented Madison Prep Team would play Baker and then play another Very Talented Team in 2015 1A State Champion Southern Lab. I definitely wanted to see the Madison Prep Game against Southern Lab.

We have been Negotiating a Fabulous Deal with Cox Cable TV to Film our  Thirteenth Annual 2017 All-American Bowl Game for National TV. We also have another Fabulous Deal with another Company to help pay for our Beautiful All-American Bowl Game Championship Rings.

Also, this year, I have become Twitter Friends with most all of these Players who are very Interested in playing in our All-American Bowl Game. I just Counted 96  Players that I Follow and they Follow Me on my Max Emfinger Scout Twitter Account. I am also Following Another 30-40 Players on Twitter.

I have been to almost every Football Stadium in the Baton Rouge Area, but it had been a few years since I had been to the Woodlawn Stadium and on Friday Night, I got lost. So when I finally got to the Stadium, it looked like about a Thousand People were waiting to get into the Stadium. I had to walk about a Mile to get into the Stadium, but I finally made it. Also, my New Junior Super Scout, Torri Stewart, was going to meet me at Woodlawn Stadium to help me Scout the Teams.

In the First Half of the Tara Game against Glen Oaks, both QB Patrick Arnold (6-4, 200, 4.6) and RB Larry Green (5-9, 190, 4.42) were Sensational. In the First Series, Arnold threw a Perfect 56-Yard Touchdown Pass to one of his Receivers, but it was Dropped. Then on Plays #2 and #3, Green ran for 10-Yards and 18-Yards and then on Play #4, Arnold hit Green in the Flat and he raced 30-Yards for a Touchdown.

In the Third Tara Series, Green ran 60-Yards for a Touchdown, but a Penalty called it back, but then with 43-Seconds Left in the First Half, Arnold hit another Super-Star WR Tywon Buckley (6-4, 200, 4.5) with an Unbelievable 39-Yard Touchdown Pass, to give Tara a 12-8 Half-Time Lead.

Then in the Second Half, on the Third Series, with only 31-Seconds Left in the Game, Green ran for a an Incredible 71-Yard Touchdown, giving Tara a 20-8 Victory over Glen Oaks. Arnold Finished with 128-Yards Passing and Two Touchdowns; while Green ran for 128-Yards on 11 Carries; averaging 11.6-Yards Per Carry and Two Touchdowns. Both Arnold and Green, had Touchdowns called back.

On Saturday, it rained all day in Plaquemine, but I was hoping and Praying that it was not raining in Baton Rouge or that it would stop before the Games Started. So when I left Plaquemine, it was still Raining. There were a lot of Talented Players on both the Madison Prep and Southern Lab Teams, but just before this game, the Southern Lab Team played Baker. My Junior Super Scout Torri Stewart also also there.

Southern Lab drove 80-Yards in Five Plays to Score the only Touchdown of the Game, culminating in a Beautiful 20-Yard Quick Slant Touchdown Pass from Junior QB Quincy Fillmore to Super-Star WR Xavier Bell (5-9, 170, 4.33) to put Southern Lab ahead 6-0. Then, Super-Star DE/FB Shannon Forman (6-2, 265, 4.7) ran for the Two-Point Conversion to make the Final Score at 8-0.

After Madison Prep beat Baker 22-8 and Southern Lab beat them 8-0; the Big Game of the night for the Corey Webster Championship was going to be Great. The Key to that Game was probably going to be Madison Prep Super-Star QB Edwin Kleinpeter (6-2, 223, 4.6) who completed 6 of 7 Passes for 117-Yards and a Touchdown in the First Game or his Super-Star WR Brian Savoie (#3), who Caught Four Passes for 61-Yards and a Touchdown.

2017 Player Brian Savoie II

So the Big Game got Started and with only 7:18 Left in the Game, Madison Prep Kicker Keyonne Hawkins Kicked a 21-Yard Field Goal for a 3-0 Lead. A few plays later, Southern Lab Junior Super-Star WR Cameron Thomas (6-4, 210, 4.5) Caught an Incredible 80-Yard Touchdown Pass from Junior QB Fillmore (6-0, 170, 4.8) to give Southern Lab a 8-3 Lead after their Two-Point Conversion was good, and then there was only 6:21 Left in the Game.

What happened next, you will not believe. You can go to a Hundred Games and NEVER see what just happened on the very next play. Remember the previous play was an 80-Yard Touchdown Pass. So with 6:06 Left, Madison Prep gets the Football back on the 20-Yard Line and Kleinpeter hit his Favorite Receiver Savoie on another Unbelievable 80-Yard Touchdown Pass witch makes Two Consecutive 80-Yard Touchdown Passes and after the Extra Point Kick, Madison Prep Lead 10-8 and that was also the Final Score.

Kleinpeter and Savoie were Incredible, but they were not the only Super-Stars that I really liked. Two Offensive Linemen: OT E’Darius Anderson (6-4, 320, 5.1) and OC Donell Hendrix (6-3, 335, 5.3); Two Defensive Linemen: DE Bryan Jones (6-6, 255, 4.6) and DE Troy James (6-3, 265, 4.6); Two Wide Receivers: Brian Savoie (5-9, 175, 4.33) and Lyndon Rash (6-1, 186, 4.42); and Two Defensive Backs who are Brothers: including FS Tazmine Walker (6-3, 190, 4.45) and Junior CB Tyrese Walker (5-9, 175, 4.5) who both made two of the Hardest Hitting Tackles of the game. Jones is Committed to Ole Miss and James is Committed to Kansas.

Four Southern Lab Defensive Players were Outstanding, including NG/DT Chad Brown (6-1, 285, 4.94) who made Six Tackles; DE Shannon Forman (6-2, 285, 4.8) who also had Six Tackles and 3 Quarterback Hurries; OLB Cameron Williams (6-1, 220, 4.6) who had a Key Fumble Recovery and Numerous Tackles; and CB Da’Vonte White (6-1, 180, 4.42) who made plays all over the Field. Bell was also Outstanding on Defense. Forman in Photo with State Championship Plaque.

In 2015 and 2016, I put together Two of the Greatest Coaching Staffs of any High School Post Season All-American Bowl Game ever played, but our 2017 Coaches could be even better with about Ten of our Coaches being Former NFL Stars and who are now Super-Star Coaches.

Many Players have Told Me that they wanted to play in our All-American Bowl Game and I sent them an Invitation, thinking that if they wanted to play, they would turn-in their Paperwork, but after two or three weeks without their Returned Paperwork, I have to really Question their Intent on Playing. Those who have not Returned their Paperwork, after Two or Three Weeks, I have taken the AA off of their Name as Playing in our Game.

The Following List is an Updated and Current List of Invitations sent to Super-Star Players and Those Players with a AA are the Players, that have returned their Paperwork and are playing in the Game.

About maxemfingerrecruiting

My mission and goal is to search for that hidden high school football talent that has not been found yet. I then evaluate him and try to help him to get some publicity. In 2003, 2004, 2005. and 2006, I hosted my Annual 7on7 National Championship. My goal was to get great athletes to one area where I could evaluate them and then help them with college coaches. The only drawback was that college coaches wanted to see the hidden gems in a game-type highlight film and so the college coaches suggested to me that I host a real All-American Bowl Game so that they could view these talented players in a highlight film, playing against other talented players. It's noted that the NCAA doesn't allow the college coaches to attend All-American Games or practices and so the Game Film is a great tool for the college coaches. In 2005, I hosted my 1st Annual All-American Bowl Game. In nine games in nine years, my wife and I have helped 549 HS football players to get a scholarship that came to our first Bowl Game practice without a single scholarship offer. This also does not count over 1,000 players who we have helped that did not play in our game, including over 100 players in the 2010 Recruiting Season. My Super Elite Top Gun Camp idealogy, is of course, to get as many Top Football Players to a Top Gun Camp so that all of my coaches and I can evaluate them, rate them, rank them, and promote them. There will always be "Diamonds in the Rough" to be found. My First Annual Max Emfinger's Super Elite Top Gun Camp was in July of 2010. The Camp was amazing and loaded with unknown and known talent. Many of them were invited to play in our 2011 All-American Bowl Game Classic. In 2007, in my 3rd Annual All-American Bowl Game, a player by the name of Kareem Jackson came to our first Monday practice, without a single scholarship offer. Jackson decided to come out early and he became a #1 Draft Choice in the 2010 NFL Draft for the Houston Texans.
