Three Weeks Ago, on October 17, the Lafayette Teurlings Catholic Football Team was down 43-17 midway through the Third Quarter, but made an Incredible Rally when they scored 36 Straight Points To Totally Shock a previously unbeaten St Thomas More Team by a 56-46 Score.

Teurlings Junior Quarterback, Cole Kelley, was hot and cold most of the night, but he was “Hotter than a Pistol” when it counted the most, and he made some Incredible Plays in the Victory. After St Thomas More took a seemingly safe 43-17 lead, Kelley threw a desperation pass, deep, down-field, hoping for the best. This is when some Heavenly Things started to happen for The Teurlings Football Team. The Pass that Kelley threw “Down-Field” hit a St Thomas More Defensive Back right “Smack-Dab” in the chest for an Interception, but wait.

The ball that should’ve been intercepted and returned deep in Teurlings territory, unexpectedly popped-up into the air. It then seemed to hang there for a few seconds until Super-Star All-Purpose Running back #22 Sage LeBlanc (5-8, 170, 4.4) raced over to the Football and grabbed it out of the air and raced, untouched for an 80-yard Touchdown, making the Score 43-25.

Another thing that is so Amazing about this Heavenly Play is that in the Newspaper on Saturday, if you are reading the Scoring and not the Complete Writeup of the Game, you would read that Kelley (6-7, 235, 4.8) threw an 80-Yard Touchdown Pass to LeBlanc.

On his next play, Kelley threw a Fabulous deep pass down the sideline and Grant LaGrange caught it in Perfect-Stride for a beautiful 38-Yard Touchdown, making the Score read 43-33.

After the Kelley to LaGrange Touchdown, Teurlings forced a punt and on a bad snap recovered the football on the Two-Yard line and the Rebels scored on the next play to make the score read 43-41 score.

The Rebels then recovered a fumble on the first play in the Fourth Quarter, and on the second play Kelley hit LaGrange again on a Beautiful 26-Yard Touchdown Pass, making the Score read 49-43 giving the Rebels the lead for good.

The Newspaper Headlines ReadGavin Royer caught a 20-Yard Touchdown Pass in the Fourth Quarter as Lafayette Teurling Catholic Upset St Thomas More by a 56-46 Score, but this Headline does not even come close to telling the real Story and Super Star Athlete Gavin Royer and Super Star Athlete Sage LeBlanc.

In the Newspaper it reads: Sage LeBlanc throws a Touchdown Pass to safety Gavin Royer (In Photo), but it does not say that it was on a blown field goal attempt. LeBlanc grabbed a very high snap and then tried to run it for a Touchdown, but was getting ready to be tackled and threw a “Hail-Mary Pass” into the End-Zone and it looked like another “Sure-Fire” Interception, but wait again. Super Star Safety Gavin Royer grabbed the Would-Be Interception out of the Hands of the St Thomas More Defensive Back and Scored the Final Rebels Touchdown.

Right Now! I have Sent Bowl Game Invitations to three Super-Star Teurlings Catholic Football Players, including SS Gavin Royer (6-0, 210, 4.48, 38, 4.03, 126, 22); AP Sage LeBlanc (5-8, 170, 4.4, 38, 4.06, 118); and DE Asa Miller (6-1, 230, 4.6, 34, 4.46, 116, 32) and LeBlanc has Accepted the Invitation.

Lafayette Teurlings Catholic is Currently 5-0 in District 5-4A and they will Host Lafayette Northside on Friday November 7 in the Beautiful Teurlings Stadium; One Week After Halloween Games and Five Days After my Birthday; and I will be there at the Game.

Northside is led by Super Athletic Quarterback Ethan Rose (6-0, 190, 4.3, 38, 4.0, 128); Super OT Oshea Dugas (6-5, 300, 4.8, 34, 4.6); and Super DT Demarcus Lee (6-1, 295, 5.3, 28, 4.87) and all three Northside Players have been given Invitations to play in the Eleventh Annual All-American Bowl Game and they have all Accepted the Invitation to Play in the Game.

Two Weeks ago, against Opelousas, Rose was just Incredible as he Rushed for 221-Yards and Scored Three Touchdowns on Runs of 22, 35, and 33-Yards to go with 108-Yards Passing and another Touchdown, giving him 329-Yards Total Offense and Four Touchdowns. Lee (6-1, 295, 4.87) was just as impressive on Defense as he Recorded 10 Tackles, including 3 Sacks and 5 Tackles for a Loss. Lee also had 4 Quarterback Hurries.

So, as you can see! Something has got to give in this Huge District 5-4A Game. Teurlings Catholic has some really great Defensive Players in Royer and Miller and it will be interesting to see if they can stop Rose. It will also be interesting to see if Lee can help slow down Kelley and Leblanc on the Teurlings Catholic Offense.

Also, The Super-Stars All play Both Offense and Defense, including Royer, Miller, and LeBlanc for Teurlings and Rose and Dugas for Northside.

I’ll have a Report on the Game on either Sunday or Monday!

About maxemfingerrecruiting

My mission and goal is to search for that hidden high school football talent that has not been found yet. I then evaluate him and try to help him to get some publicity. In 2003, 2004, 2005. and 2006, I hosted my Annual 7on7 National Championship. My goal was to get great athletes to one area where I could evaluate them and then help them with college coaches. The only drawback was that college coaches wanted to see the hidden gems in a game-type highlight film and so the college coaches suggested to me that I host a real All-American Bowl Game so that they could view these talented players in a highlight film, playing against other talented players. It's noted that the NCAA doesn't allow the college coaches to attend All-American Games or practices and so the Game Film is a great tool for the college coaches. In 2005, I hosted my 1st Annual All-American Bowl Game. In nine games in nine years, my wife and I have helped 549 HS football players to get a scholarship that came to our first Bowl Game practice without a single scholarship offer. This also does not count over 1,000 players who we have helped that did not play in our game, including over 100 players in the 2010 Recruiting Season. My Super Elite Top Gun Camp idealogy, is of course, to get as many Top Football Players to a Top Gun Camp so that all of my coaches and I can evaluate them, rate them, rank them, and promote them. There will always be "Diamonds in the Rough" to be found. My First Annual Max Emfinger's Super Elite Top Gun Camp was in July of 2010. The Camp was amazing and loaded with unknown and known talent. Many of them were invited to play in our 2011 All-American Bowl Game Classic. In 2007, in my 3rd Annual All-American Bowl Game, a player by the name of Kareem Jackson came to our first Monday practice, without a single scholarship offer. Jackson decided to come out early and he became a #1 Draft Choice in the 2010 NFL Draft for the Houston Texans.
